Teams will meet from 1:30 to 3:00 in the afternoon on the days shown below. Teams will meet in the Erie Community Hub, which comprises the Erie Community Library, Erie Community Center, and the Erie Community Park.
Students will gather at the Erie Community Library at the beginning and end of their sessions.
400 Powers St
Erie, CO 80516
Each team will have a limit of 5 learners to ensure an individualized and accommodated instructional plan.
All teams will meet seven times for 90 minutes each on a specific weekday.
All teams will have one additional meeting for 180 minutes (from 1:30-4:30 PM) on a Friday to work on longer tasks (Underlined)
There are nine days that students from all teams are encouraged to join. (Bolded)
The first two days of the summer project are 120-minute organizational meetings where students can connect and begin to organize big-picture plans and create their schedules for the summer.
There are also five Filming Days that all students are strongly encouraged to participate in.
Finally, all students are expected to participate in preparations for the Movie Night and attend the Movie Premiere.
I hope to provide educational support to everyone who could use it. I recognize that individualized support can be pricey, so I hope the summer film project can serve as a more budget-friendly option for families.
Families can enroll their student(s) in just one or several teams for this summer project. The rates for the film project are based on the number of teams a student is a part of.
